Glazed jelly donuts are the only way to jelly donut. Don't waste your time with the kind dusted with sugar or shmeared with icing. I'm completely obsessed with the ones from Buttercream Bakery in Napa. Buttercream Bakery is an old school bakery/diner that just makes you feel good when you walk in. Their glazed jelly donuts melt in your mouth and the strawberry jelly is not overly sweet. It's usually a good idea to call and order some in advance because they sell out quickly everyday. Oh, and guess what, they're under $1 each. Perfection.
