and then I put an egg on it at Morimoto.

There are tons of great restaurants in Napa, but we were in serious need of some Asian food. Morimoto filled a void in the valley and we're sure glad it's here. The menu is extensive and just incredible. If you are in it for the long haul, treat yourself to the multi-course omakase and have the chefs cook for you. It's such a fun experience and totally worth it. One of the many courses we recently enjoyed was this pork belly, served on a hot stone, with spicy kimchi, and topped with a quail egg. Many thanks, Morimoto!
